Spring!–{Memphis, TN, Children’s Custom Portraiture}
Posted on April 22, 2010
I went out with my kiddos tonight to capture a shot that says “SPRING!” for a contest to win a spot in an incredible workshop that will only enhance my photography.
Gideon, since he didn’t feel well, his nose was running, and he had a fever, held the bubble gun while Naomi modeled for me.
They both did their jobs without fussing!! (a rare thing for the 2 and 3 yr. old children of a photographer)
Here are a few of the shots I got. The light was lovely.

Newborn Portraits {Searcy, AR–Portraits}
Posted on April 2, 2010
Today I had the privilege of meeting tiny little “Miss R”. She is beautiful and trusting, in that she quieted down when I told her things were ok.
(I don’t remember the last time I held a newborn!)
Taking these photographs for this family in particular meant a lot to me as I have known them since the mother was 5? and had just moved here from Kenya.
I hope you love these photos as much as I do. And I hope they meet the expectations of the entire family who were all positioned behind me ooh-ing and ah-ing.
Without further ado… I give you… your sneak peek…
Ok, raise your hand if you want to snuggle a newborn now?
