Gift Certificates!!!

Posted on November 25, 2009

I have added Gift Certificates to my product list! These will be mailed to you or the recipient. They will be custom designed and hand-crafted postcard-style cards that will include a coupon code. Here are the 4 certificates:

Gift Certificate 1: $20
Gift Certificate 2: $50
Gift Certificate 3: $100
Free Session: $75 (some restrictions apply*)

Currently, my ordering site is set up for those who have an existing on-line gallery. Until I figure out how to work around this, if you would like to purchase one of the new certificates, please contact me directly. (contact information is all over this web-site)

I hope this helps with some of those, “What do I get _________?” Dilemmas. :)

Happy Holidays!
Daisha

Expanding My Market

Posted on November 18, 2009

This December (over Christmas break), my family and I will move to Memphis, TN.

I will continue to offer limited sessions in Searcy… so have no fear. :)

We are excited about this move. For one, our family will be able to be together every day instead of just half the week!

Look for new and exciting promotions as I begin to build up my client base in Memphis. And, by all means, if you know anyone in Memphis who might be interested in custom portraiture, send them the link to this site!

A New Product!!!

Posted on November 16, 2009

I was so excited the other day when I got my new product in the mail! You see… a few days ago I ordered a magnet from my printing company to see how I liked the quality. I mean, I’m not going to offer a product that I’m not excited about.

And these magnets ROCK!

LargeMagnets

I am offering the larger magnet size (3″x4.5″) for $5. They make GREAT little gifts or stocking-stuffers! (not that I’m giving any hints here, family) :)

Throw one into your order and see what I mean!

“Scrooge” Children’s Cast

Posted on November 9, 2009

This fall I have been able to reconnect to my theatre training by being the children’s director for Harding University’s Homecoming musical “Scrooge.”

These are really great kids! I’ve met a lot of kids in my day and the kids in our cast are exceptional.

Through out the dress rehearsals and performances, I’ve had my camera with me. Here’s a brief look at who I’ve been kickin’ it with. :) ScroogeCompo1

New Feature!**Family Portraiture, Searcy, AR

Posted on November 8, 2009

So one of the new things I’ve added to my services is that I help you visualize what your images might look like on your walls at home. I believe it will cut down on the stress of having a nebulous vision and give a concrete example of how the pictures could be displayed.

The Staggs are the first family I’ve used it for. I included one layout in their proof set, and they requested I work up a different one closer to their specifications.

To show off the new layout (my 6th custom layout), we can all see how lovely the portraits of this adorable family would look on a wall.

Feel free to leave feedback as to whether or not you like this additional service. :)

The Staggs Family**Holiday Package–Family Portraiture, Searcy, AR

Posted on November 6, 2009

This gorgeous afternoon, I was privileged to meet up with the room-mate of one of my friends from college.

The Staggs family was stylin’ in their western wear. Even lil’ cowpoke, Mr. S, was sporting cowboy boots.

I had some uninterrupted time when working on the preview and actually completed all of the shots for the gallery.

But, I’ll just post 3 as a preview. ;)

Enjoy!

The Channing Family**Holiday Special**Family Portraiture, Searcy, AR

Posted on November 3, 2009

This evening I headed back to Harding’s campus to snap a few pictures of the Channing family. We had so much fun.

Lil’ Miss “S” was all energy and smiles (even though I’ve chosen to preview a picture of her where she’s NOT smiling. When you see it, you’ll see why. Watch out, Daddy, those dating years don’t seem so far away when you look at the photo.) :)

I hope you like this preview as much as I do!

The Westbrook Family**Family Portraiture, Searcy, AR**

Posted on November 2, 2009

Back in August, the Westbrook family entered and won my free photo session with a $50 print credit. And today they cashed in on it. :)

We were running around trying to catch the light before it disappeared on us. This time change thing is taking all the evening light and giving it to the afternoon. :)

But I managed to capture a few smiles.

Here’s the sneak preview:

Happy Halloween from the Sheets!**Life**

Posted on November 1, 2009

Here’s a peak into our life with our kids.  (There are times when I put down the Photographer-Hat, and solely don the Mom-hat.  That is the case last night with the photos in this coming slide-show.)

To see my comments on the photos, chose “Show Info” from the top bar in the slide show itself.

Enjoy!
